OSCAR, Inc.
Founded in 1959, OSCAR (Orthodontic Supply Corporation And Research), Inc. has been manufacturing orthodontic appliances, equipment, and supplies for almost 50 years, making us one of the oldest companies in the field today. Our goal was and remains today to continue establishing our name, our products, and our service as a symbol of the highest quality.
A big part of our name is Research, and we take that aspect of our company very seriously. Constantly looking for better products, our research has resulted in many successful innovations well known in today´s market, including:
the origination of the offset bicuspid bonding bracket in 1984,
our system of easily accessible stackable model boxes,
our unique and convenient stainless steel holders that package our preformed ligature wire and can be sterilized by any method, and
the very innovative AjustoBow, a facebow that has an adjustable inner bow making it easier to fit, giving a more accurate fit, and saving chair time while reducing customer inventory. We dreamed it, designed it, and manufactured it.
We also show the same commitment to the quality of our company as we do our products. OSCAR, Inc. has done that by receiving our CE Mark as well as being certified ISO 13485, an internationally recognized quality system standard for medical device companies.
And we are not resting on our success. OSCAR, Inc. recently moved into a new, state-of-the-art 15,000 square foot building where we will continue to manufacture the highest quality products, research new and innovative ideas, and keep our service to customers a top priority.
